I've read Malik in The Kif Warriors series. It's somewhat one-dimensional in regards to the psychology, I thought, and there's some serious graphic content in the beginning that might bother some readers. I did like the mpreg element, which was quite creative compared to many, and the society that was developed somewhat and further shared in the next book in the series.
