Blurb: Best Surprise Ever: Going out to add to your Christmas hoard and finding your fated mate.

Laszlo
I’ve been longing to find my mate for over a thousand years. When I see him for the first time, he’s standing beneath sparkling glass ornaments, like a present waiting to be unwrapped. A present I intend to lay claim to.

If I can lure him back to my lair, I’ll shower him with so many gifts he’ll never want to leave. Bonded with my mate by Christmas? Yes, please.

Roman
I’m no good at flirting and have terrible luck with men, so when a gorgeous alpha says he wants to take me home, I’m shocked. And wary. My heat is about to start, and I’ve never shared it with anyone, so why do I suddenly want to say yes to this stranger?

There’s something unusual about him, the way his eyes shine, the odd phrases he keeps using. He says he wants to add me to his collection of beautiful things. I should be offended, but instead, I’m intrigued. Just this once, should I take a risk?

The Lonely Dragons Club is an MM dragon shifter mpreg series about finding your one true love. The next book is The Snow Dragon's Mate.

Title: Freeing the Dragon
Series: Immortal Lovers, 1
Author: Nicki Rowe
Length: 161 pages

Genre: Romance / Slow Burn / Paranormal / Futuristic / Post Apocalyptic / Poly / Shifters / Dragons /

Notes: #wishlist

Blurb: The Year is 2267. Cars hover and run solely on sunlight, implanted microchips are used for communication and to listen to music, people rely heavily on robots to provide basic duties, and holograms to provide entertainment. With the ever advancing technology it had become nearly impossible for the Supernatural beings to hide in the shadows.

Supes walk among the humans, but are not given the same rights and liberties as their human counterparts. While humans live in modern, beautiful buildings, Supes reside in squalor and filth. They have no access to well paying jobs or education. They have no dignity.

The United States has been torn apart after a devastating civil war; the north is a sanctuary for Supes, a land where they can get the same rights as any human, the same education, the same high paying jobs. But the south is a police state, ruled over by the rich humans and a government agency called WatchTower.

It's WatchTower's job to keep Supes in line, to make sure they follow the strict laws and don't harm humans. But when someone starts knocking off Supes one by one, WatchTower dispenses Unit 6482 to bring the killer to justice.

Following the death of their leader Felix Reese, 6482 is now being led by Dexter Williams, a man who is a legend among the WatchMen, but hates the name he has made for himself. As Dex leads his unit to finding the killer, he can't help but feel drawn to one of his subordinates, Angel de la Cruz, and a dragon shifter named Damon Vas.

Angel is small in size but takes pride in being a fierce WatchMan. He's known for his incredible knife skills, his loyalty, bravery and adaptability. But Angel has a secret, a fear that makes him feel weak and vulnerable. After meeting Dex and Damon, Angel knows he must get rid of the thing he fears if he wishes to have a future with the two men. But as Angel starts making the necessary changes in his life to claim Dex and Damon for his own all hell begins to break loose.

Damon is opposite of everything it means to be a dragon shifter. He is shy and naive, and falling for two WatchMen makes him just plain foolish, but there is something about the two men that pulls him in and he is helpless to stop it. Once he learns about a secret society that helps Supes, Damon must decide if he wants to join the fight and lose Dex and Angel, or keep his men and run as far away as he can.

After being in the wrong place at the wrong time, Damon is accused of being the Supe Killer and is thrown in jail. Dex, Angel and a small group of their friends work to prove Damon's innocence even though the cards are stacked against the dragon shifter.

When the team finds out who the real murderer is, they are shocked to discover there is more to the story than meets the eye. The killer is just a small cog in a very dark machine. Damon, Dex and Angel are about to discover that there is something even more sinister happening within WatchTower itself.

Freeing the Dragon is a slow burn MMM romance, intended for audiences 18+

Series: Shifters Force, 1
Author(s): AM Burns, AT Weaver
Length: 244 pages

Genre: Romantic Elements / Paranormal / Shifters / Serial Killer / Mystery /

Notes: I put this is romantic elements because Amazon categories shown were not in romance, and the blurb. I chose this because the series name caught my eye and the blurb sounds like it will be action packed and fun. #TBR

Blurb: Blood runs deep in Jemez Springs.

Psychic cougar shifter Connor McGriffin is used to his visions leading him around. For years, he’s followed them back and forth across the country to the people who need his help. When his comfortable vacation in the mountains is interrupted by a vision of a woman dying, he can’t see enough details to find the killer and stop him from striking again. Facing the most dangerous foe he’s ever dealt with, Connor needs all the help he can get.

Small town deputy and wolf shifter, Danny Lupan is getting bored of chasing speeders and the occasional drug dealer. Little does he know, he might lose his heart, his life, or maybe both.

But when events escalate and his life is on the line, Levi has to wonder if it was wise to trust the Mysterious and Amazing Blue Billings.

Title: Malik
Series: The Warrior Kif, 1
Author(s): Kiki Burrelli, Crista Crown
Length: 156 pages

Genre: Romance / Aliens / Sci-Fi / Mpreg / Humor /

Notes: This looks fun.

Blurb: All his life, Loshka has been trained to be one thing, a pleasure slave. Led by a higher calling, he was taught the path to eternal glory was paved with obedience. His will is not important, not when compared to the will of his future master.

But his faith is tested when Loshka is given to a brutal alien master who enjoys Loshka’s screams of pain more than his pleasure. As Loshka resigns himself to a short life with the cruel monster, he is kidnapped by a group of warriors.

Malik and his warrior family are searching the forsaken lands for a missing boy when they find Loshka. Malik never expected his mate would be an alien man who is as soft as he is vulnerable. He doesn’t have the hard scales or sharp claws that Malik and his kind use to survive daily in the harsh desert landscape.

Loshka is not just afraid, but completely unaware of what it means to belong to another, not as an object, but as a mate. It takes every ounce of Malik’s patience to convince Loshka that he deserves more than the life handed to him.

But just as Loshka learns that with love, a future and a family are not impossible, his past returns to drag him back into a life of forced servitude. The fated mates have already been through so much, can they survive one more threat to their bond?

Malik is the first book in The Kif Warriors, an alien mpreg series. This is the first co-write between Crista and Kiki. They’ve joined forces to bring you all the humor, magic, steam and action that you enjoy!

  1. I've read Malik in The Kif Warriors series. It's somewhat one-dimensional in regards to the psychology, I thought, and there's some serious graphic content in the beginning that might bother some readers. I did like the mpreg element, which was quite creative compared to many, and the society that was developed somewhat and further shared in the next book in the series.

    1. Thanks for the heads up! I was wondering about that. I was expecting some angst but I read somewhere that there was humor so I was hoping for a balance. The graphic content in the beginning, thanks for the warning. I can brace myself.
