What's on the Reading Radar? #reading #TBR

It has been one of those weeks where I'm wondering, "What happened? Yesterday was Monday!" I gave myself a deadline for my current WIP where I'm supposed to finish Cherish (The Valespian Pact, 4), but I have this huge 'farseeing' moment where I'm blowing by that date at record speed. Bwuahahaha! (*cries*). I have this suspicion that Cherish will be closer to 200k than I wanted, but... (looks at the manuscript)... yeah, there is too much that needs to be resolved.

For the reading side of my life, I've been binge reading (mostly, there are a couple different books that started the week off before that). Now I will be the first to say I cannot binge read a series because after about the third book I start getting disgruntled, knitpicky, I-think-I-know-what-is-going-to-happen-and-I'm-angry-with-the-MC. Seriously, that fastest way to put me off a series is for me to try bingeing. There have been exceptions, Kaye Draper's Gesa series is one and Anne Bishop's Others series is another, but for the most part I don't do it unless the author has standalones. I said I'd been bingeing this weekend. That would be Megan Derr. I've been dragon hoarding her releases for the last oh, 18 months or so. I do that sometime with my favorite authors because their stories take me to a special place and if I don't know how soon I'm going to get another 'hit' I will save the book. So like a junky, I gorged on her books this past week and now I'm out again. *sobs into coffee*

Series: Champions, 1
Author: Megan Derr
Length: 119 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy / Friends to Lovers / Tournament /

Notes: Loved this! Cannot wait for the next book.

Blurb: Two years ago, while he was away on a diplomatic mission, Davrin's best friend was murdered in cold blood. Finally home, with the mourning period ended, Davrin is determined to have justice—but as a noble, the law forbids him from fighting Lord Tekker directly. Instead, he must have a champion to face off against Tekker's champion. When he issues the challenge, however, no one steps forward to be his champion, leaving Davrin humiliated and despairing.

Cimar may only be an archivist now, but he earned his spurs the same as any knight, and he hasn't allowed his skills to lapse over the years. Though he did not arrive in time to answer as champion at dinner, he does see Davrin in the dark hours of the night—and infuriates the king, Tekker, and his slimy champion Grayne when he arrives in the morning to make the challenge official.

Though Cimar and Grayne are matched in skill and their rare ability to shift, Grayne and Tekker have the king's favor, and Grayne's hellhound form is nigh unbeatable. If Cimar is going to win the challenge to avenge an old friend on behalf of a man he's always secretly loved, it's going to take every skill and trick at his disposal—and a whole lot of luck.

Series: (Blodwen Forest Book 2)
Author: Megan Derr
Length: 126 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy / Fairy Tale / Frenemies /

Notes: I read this series back to back, starting with The Huntsman. It is set in the world of Snow White. Ribald dwarves, evil queen, a black widow curse, and a huntsman who tries to save them all. Both stories were fun to escape into.

Blurb: Marcum sacrificed much to be the greatest alchemist on the continent and a master of poisons rivaled by precious few. Power and standing in his father's court. The chance to build friendships, find romance. His beauty, which was once considered noteworthy, but now is ruined by scars and burns. He is regarded with wariness at best and fear at worst.

Though a recent move to the kingdom of Blodwen, far from his home of Roseberry, offers something of a fresh start, still his ravaged appearance and eccentric ways do him no favors—especially not with Goulet, the handsome, infuriating goblin who will clearly never see Marcum as anything but an ugly, bothersome know-it-all unworthy of the tattoos Goulet inks into all their friends.

Then a goblin is murdered, and Marcum's laboratory mysteriously destroyed, opening the doors on a nightmare that should have ended for good more than a decade ago, but now seems to have returned with vengeance in mind…

Series: (Castle Rehm Book 2)
Author: Megan Derr
Length: 71 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy / Enemies to Lovers /

Notes: This was a sweet romance for me with a side of adventure. I started with the first book, The Succubus.

Blurb: Years ago, Bedros was the right hand lackey to a cruel prince who became a crueler king. He's not proud of the role he played in that cruelty, but those days are well behind him. All he wants now is to take care of Castle Rehm, and enjoy the peace and quiet that comes from being a despised outcast.

That peace is shattered when the very last person he expected to ever see again arrives with dire news: that the king wants a war, and he is going to engineer the slaughter of Bedros and his people in order to get it.

Bedros has very little time to prepare to face the royal army and all the force it can bring to bear, but he'll do everything he can—include cooperate with a man who despises him, whose life Bedros once saved at the cost of everything he once thought he held dear.

Author: Megan Derr
Length: 83 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy

Notes: Currently reading this one. I just want to take Solae home with me 'cause his family doesn't deserve him.

Blurb: All Solae wants is to be accepted and loved by the family that has always rejected him. But given it was his late mother who cursed the kingdom to eternal winter, the chances of that happening are minimal. If he can find a way to break the curse, however, surely that would be enough to change their minds regarding him.

But Solae is forbidden to practice magic because of his mother, which limits his ability to pursue solutions. Desperate for advice and new ideas, he contacts a famous curse breaker—and has no idea what to do when the man unexpectedly shows up, handsome and friendly and dangerously intriguing.

Title: Beast
Author: Megan Derr
Length: 135 pages

Genre: Romance / Fairy Tale Retelling / Fantasy /

Notes: This is next on my binge list.

Blurb: Alcor has it all: wealth, popularity, power. Whatever he wants, he has only to snap his fingers. He spends his days doped on dragonweed and enjoying the latest person seduced into his bed. He is cold, selfish, and cruel.

Then a dark faerie shows up at his birthday party, and a night of drugs and debauchery turns into a nightmare of fire and blood, killing everyone—except Alcor.

Instead of death, Alcor is left disfigured and cursed, unable to die, forced into a life of solitude, and his only hope for salvation is that someone can learn to love a beast…

Series: Their Vampire Queen
Author: Joely Sue Burkhart
Length: 206 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Urban Fantasy / Vampires / Mythology /

Notes: This is the second book in the Sunfires Trilogy. Where I thought the last few books in this series were a little too short, this one is not. The pacing was great. Nothing felt rushed which is excellent because Karmen has a horrific background to deal with. I loved everything about it.

Blurb: A secret burns inside me that will very likely get me killed.

The wolf king may have gotten me out of Chicago alive, but he couldn’t burn rubber fast enough to get away from me once he’d dropped me off at his sister’s. Wearing nothing but a hospital gown and his borrowed coat, I have to face an Aima queen for the first time. Alone.

Luckily, she has enough scruples to fill me in on some vampire queen basics without trapping me into a sibling alliance without my knowledge. There is so much about this world that I don’t know. I’ve never lived as a vampire queen. I’ve certainly never fed.

I have no one on my side. No Blood of my own. I don’t know who to trust.

With Soldiers of Light and blazing sunfires on my trail, I’m trapped. I’ve got nowhere else to go.

But they aren’t taking me back to Heliopolis alive.

Note: Karmen is recovering from abuse with flashbacks to her past, which may be triggering to survivors of sexual assault.

Series: (The Fallen Gods Book 1)
Author: KA Knight
Length: 166 pages

Genre: Erotic Romance / Urban Fantasy / Sleeping Pantheon / Dark Romance /

Notes: This is a bit on the dark side with references to previous rape and death of a loved one. There are seven sleeping gods and this series is about them waking up, finding their mates, and perhaps taking over. I've only read this one so far so I'm guessing here.

Blurb: Seven sons, each with a bloodline of supernaturals that can be traced back to them, but where did they go?

Humiliation, pain and hunger become Dabria’s everyday life as a captive but when she is forced to watch the one person in the world she loves die...what will she become?

Rising from the blood and ashes, Dabria is tossed into a cell and left to rot...only she isn’t alone.

A monster so feared they locked him up and threw away the key...and now, he has his sights set on her.

Nothing is safe from him, not her body nor her mind, and definitely not her heart.

Gather around, little ones, this is the beginning of the end.

Thank you for stopping by and reading!!

What's on the Reading Radar? #WishList #reading #TBR

I wasn't sure that I would get to the Reading Radar this week! Storms and power outages and playing catchup with my work. That was NOT what I had envisioned for my week, but look here. The Radar is coming together, at the last minute, but still... Accomplishment!! LOL

Title: Wolf Moon
Series: Alpha Triplets, 3
Author(s): Minerva Howe
Length: 131 pages

Genre: Erotic Romance / Paranormal / Alpha & Omega / No Mpreg / Gay

Notes: #reading I'm wondering if this is going to be a trilogy or if the series will continue. We have Tam who is in wolf form. Will he find a mate?

Blurb: Ryder Lowell has been looking for former "worthless one" Chris ever since Chris ran from his family and the safety they offered, thinking he wasn't worthy of a good home. The last place he expects to find Chris is at a gentleman's club, dancing and waiting tables. But Ryder knows he's not leaving without Chris when he leaves that club.

Chris is scared to death that he'll bring bad stuff to his brothers Ethan and Sam, and to Ryder and his family. He knows Ryder is his mate, and he wants his family more than anything, but he's not sure what to do when Ryder finds him. A chance accident leads him home to recover, and he knows he's where he needs to be, but will danger from outside the family threaten to tear them apart?

Series: Forsaken Fae, 1
Author(s): RA Steffan
Length: 251 pages

Genre: Slow Burn Romance / Urban Fantasy / Wild Hunt Troubles / Gay

Notes: I have this on ebook but it released on audio and I grabbed it and listened during the power outage. It is going to be slow, slow burn just because both guys have a lot of baggage. This can be read as a standalone. I wasn't lost at all. I'm looking forward to the next book. The narrator was new-to-me and I really liked him. #read

Blurb: There's an unconscious Fae drooling on Len's couch.
That's not even the weirdest thing to happen to him this week.

Len's been told that not all Fae are scheming, manipulative pricks. A moot point, since this one definitely is—he knows that much from bitter experience.

So, when his vampire ex-coworker dumps Albigard of the Unseelie on Len's doorstep, he gives her two hours to find a better hiding place for the Fae fugitive before tossing him straight to the curb with the rest of the garbage.

He should have known better, of course. Because if there's one thing Len's learned since being thrown into the deep end of the seedy paranormal underworld, it's that nothing is ever so simple.

Now he's on the run from a cataclysmic primal force trying to tear its way into the human realm, stuck with a charismatic bastard who already knows way too much about the inside of Len's messed-up head. The first time he met Albigard, Len punched the Fae in his too-perfect face. This time, they'll have to learn to work together—or risk having their souls torn apart and consigned to the void, with the rest of humanity facing the same fate soon after.

The Wild Hunt has slipped its chains.
Darkness is coming for the world.

Series: A Veil World Urban Fantasy
Author(s): Pippa Dacosta
Length: 302 pages

Genre: Urban Fantasy / New Adult / Lab Experiments /

Notes: I picked this up on sale. It sounds great.

Blurb: When the veil fell, demons made Los Angeles their new home...

Half-demon Gem knows only that she and her brother, Del, are escaped experiments. On the run from the cruel Institute who would prefer she be in chains, she’s fallen into a life under the thumb of the demon trafficker, and powerful demon, Allard.

But when Del disappears and the mysterious and cocky, Torrent, shows up with seemingly all the answers, Gem would be a fool to trust him.

She’s never trusted anyone. Just herself and Del, and as she follows Del’s trail, she discovers Torrent and Allard aren’t the only ones with an interest in seeing her fail. The Institute hasn’t forgotten their experiments.

Time is running out. The net is closing. Can Gem save her brother before their fates are sealed forever?

Chaos Rises is the first book in the dark and twisty Chaos urban fantasy series. This world is full of morally ambiguous people and demons. If you’re looking for urban fantasy with bite, you’ve found it in this stunning trilogy.

Reading order:

Chaos Rises
Chaos Unleashed
Chaos Falls

Series: (Dark Ones series Book 3)
Author(s): Katie Mac Alister
Length: 389 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Vampires / Humor

Notes: #reading So I bought this series in paperback a while ago but recently the ebook went on sale and since the audibook was whispersynced, I grabbed it. I have not read the other books in the series but every book is about a different couple so I'm not lost, though I suspect that character names from the previous books have already been touched on.

Blurb: When it comes to creating the very best in passionate and wildly funny contemporary paranormal romance fiction featuring sexy, brooding, unforgettable immortal males, Katie MacAllister is at the head of the class, right alongside Avon’s own Lynsay Sands of Argeneau vampire family fame. One of the earliest and best-loved novels in Katie’s acclaimed chronicles of the Dark Ones, Sex, Lies and Vampires is one winner of a paranormal delight—uniting a beautiful, flawed Charmer with a disgraced Dark One, doomed for betraying his own kind. A thrilling supernatural love story featuring hungry demons, poltergeists, the undead…even some restless mummies, Sex, Lies and Vampires will make you a Katie MacAllister fan for all eternity!

Author(s): Meghan Maslow
Length: 310 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy / Forced Proximity / Humor / Gay

Blurb: You’d think being magically tethered to the hottest warden in all Verona wouldn’t be a hardship.

You’d be wrong.

Incubus Nico Azertiran has his dream job as a cherub-in-training. It’s the perfect position for a lust demon who’s more interested in happily-ever-afters than one-night stands. Or it would be, if he didn’t keep screwing it up. When a new cherub gadget misfires, Nico is left trussed to Verona’s most eligible warden, the incredibly grumpy, Sir Flame.

Flambeau Illume has a job to do. Someone’s murdering Verona’s rich and famous, and Sir Flame’s hot on the killer’s trail . . . until he has the misfortune to get magically lassoed to the most infuriating incubus he’s ever had the displeasure to meet. Except, maybe Nico isn’t so terribly awful. But how can he solve his case and keep Nico safe at the same time? Especially when the sweet demon seems to have a bullseye on his back.

Together they need to solve the crime, stay alive, and—if their luck changes—maybe even fall in love. Easy, right?

Must Love Demons is part of the Magic Emporium series. Each book stands alone, but each one features an appearance by Marden’s Magic Emporium, a shop that can appear anywhere, but only once and only when someone’s in dire need. This book contains explicit scenes, a lariat of love, a demon tail with a mind of its own, and a guaranteed HEA.

Series: (Antonello Brothers: Immortal Book 1)
Author(s): Kayelle Allen
Length: 508 pages

Genre: Romance / Sci-Fi / Immortal / Gay

Notes: I'm always on the look out for a good sci-fi romance. #wishlist

What's on the Reading Radar? #WishList #Reading

What am I doing? Adding words to Cherish along with new scenes (finally finished reworking the issue chapters! Party! Party! Party!) But now I'm adding new chapters, which is an awesome feeling. It's already midway through February... wha... wha... Nooooo! I need more time. I'm going to be pushing to get the first draft of Cherish completed by the end of the month. Which means I'm going to let some of my side fun things, like the Reading Radar, go so that I can put all my time into writing, writing, and more writing. Wish me luck!

Title: Blindspot
Series: (Daydream, Colorado Book 1)
Author(s): AM rose
Length: 334 Pages

Genre: Romance / Urban Fantasy / Angsty / Second Chances /  Gay

Notes: This has a lot more angst that what I normally read. I was very interested in the secondary characters that we got a glimpse of and I'll be checking out book two which sounds like it will lean towards Hurt/Comfort trope.

Blurb: Standing out in a town like Daydream, Colorado should have been impossible to do, yet somehow Drew managed. All his life he had been the one everyone was looking at when he walked down the street. No matter how hard he'd tried to fit in, fingers pointed at his back and whispers followed his every step. Until it all got too much and he'd left Daydream. For good.

Among all the special people in Daydream, Mason was just a bit more special. He had the ability to see all sorts of things; private conversations, someone’s biggest mistakes, and their tiniest, most insignificant moments. But even with this ability to glance into the future, he didn’t see Drew leaving Daydream for good. He didn’t see Drew breaking his heart. And he definitely didn’t see him coming back.

**This book is the first in a series. It contains magical settings, best friends-turned lovers-turned strangers, a second-chance romance, and a lot of likable supporting characters. While it can be read as a standalone it's best enjoyed with the other titles in the series.
NOTE: A re-edited version uploaded on February 4th, 2021.

Series: Jon's Mysteries, 4
Author: AJ Sherwood
Length: 238 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Gay

Notes: Another great addition to Jon's books. <3

Blurb: Proposing vs defusing a bomb?

Defusing a bomb is much easier than proposing.

Defusing Donovan’s anger over getting on a plane to defuse said bomb? Harder than the bomb.

I am not liking these odds.

Is proposing supposed to be this difficult?

Jon and Donovan have a fight, as expected they’re very bad at it, things go BOOM, my kink is healthy processing and expressing of emotions, relationship lessons, life lessons, love is not based on worth, the dads are awesome, I put Jon on a plane, because I’m evil that way, personal space? What’s that?, cats, Jon has a new toy, no I’m not talking about Donovan, the bomb squad is ready to just keep Jon, road trip!, grandparents also rock, absolutely nothing goes according to plan

Series: (Valhalla Warriors Book 1)
Author: Rosie Jarvis
Length: 155 pages

Genre: Romance / Contemporary / Paranormal / Motorcycle Club / Hurt Comfort / Age Gap / Gay

Notes: Wish List

Blurb: An Immortal Biker Daddy walks into a bar…

Abbott McClain is on the run.

An infamous human trafficker and murderer is hot on his heels, and he has nowhere to go. When his car breaks down in a small Texas town, he has no choice but to seek help from a biker bar in the middle of nowhere. After a lifetime of rejection, he doesn’t want to trust anyone ever again. But when he meets a blue-eyed bear at the bar who promises him kindness and protection, he desperately wants to believe that this time things will be different.

James Alan Cutter is on a mission.

As a member of an immortal motorcycle club entrusted with protecting humanity, he shouldn’t be taking time off for romance. But something about Abbott stirs his Daddy nature.

When evil stalks the boy Cutter has fallen for, his brothers in arms come together to protect their love.

Cutter’s Mission is a 48K motorcycle club romance with an age gap, size difference, and hurt/comfort.

Series: Magic Emporium Series
Author: Rowan McAllister
Length: 242 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Contemporary / Gay

Blurb: Ryan O’Byrne has rules: 1) no using his magic, 2) no getting dragged back into his family’s craziness, and 3) no dating supernaturals of any kind, especially shifters … in other words, nothing and no one who will tempt him to break rule number one.

But what if the gorgeous wall of muscle he can’t seem to stay away from just happens to be a shifter? Well, it is only a short-term thing, and he isn’t a master of denial for nothing.

Leo Holt can’t help it if he has a teeny tiny weakness for bad boys—not really bad, just a little prickly around the edges. Even for a unicorn, all sweetness and light, all the time, can get a little boring. But, falling for the eldest son of the dark witch family who runs his little West Virginia town might be getting his fingers too close to the fire, even for him.

For Ryan, it was supposed to be a simple trip back home to show support during a family crisis. But when hexes, secrets, a family demon, and the O’Byrne witches are involved, nothing is ever simple.

Hexes and Hornsis part of the Magic Emporium Series. Each book stands alone, but each one features an appearance by Marden’s Magic Emporium, a shop that can appear anywhere, but only once and only when someone’s in dire need. This book contains explicit sex scenes, a muscular moonshiner, a reluctant witch, a spooky best friend, and a guaranteed HEA.

What's on the Reading Radar? #WishList #TBR

Wow. I thought January went by fast. This first week of February felt non-existent. This would indicate that I was busy. Now, I just need to feel as if I accomplished something. LOL!

Series: Fated Elves, 1
Author(s): Devon Vesper
Length: 314 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy / Contemporary / Gay

Notes: The freebie that Devon gave away at the beginning of January allowed me to dip my toe into this universe. I'm excited to get back to it!

Blurb: An omega elven king is shocked to discover his alpha... is a human construction worker?

When Dustin stumbles into Casersis and touches his magic amulet, Dustin’s hint of elven blood starts a magical chain reaction that puts him in mortal danger. The amulet’s power begins to rewrite his DNA from human to elf, and if humanity finds out, he’ll become a science experiment at best. But when Casersis senses the change, his first instinct is to hold Dustin captive.

Casersis wants his young alpha to be safe and loved while he undergoes his magical change. Exiled from his home and throne by his son, and now a billionaire corporation owner, when Casersis issues commands, his people fall in line. But Dustin is so independent that Casersis doesn’t know how to hold onto him without suffocating his new lover.

Can Casersis keep Dustin safe by holding him against his will? Or will the threat of captivity erase the bond of trust they had just begun to form?

This 73,000-word non-shifter omegaverse novel is set in a world where mpreg (male pregnancy) is a fact of life. However, this series does not end with a baby or pregnancy.

Series: Magic Emporium Series
Author(s): Kim Fielding
Length: 216 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy / Contemporary / Gay

Blurb: Morli is a prince on a mission—but he’d rather be baking.

Baxter is a lonely production artist stuck in a pandemic lockdown.

They are literally universes apart. But with a little help from a magic shop, a raven, and a dead great-aunt who was possibly a witch, Morli and Baxter are joined together on a cross-worlds adventure. Battling killer brambles in order to rescue an enchanted princess seems simple compared to their real challenges: discovering their strengths and creating a future together.

The Muffin Man is part of the Magic Emporium Series. Each book stands alone, but each one features an appearance by Marden’s Magic Emporium, a shop that can appear anywhere, but only once and only when someone is in dire need. This book contains reluctant heroes, sentient sourdough starter, lots of carbs, and a guaranteed HEA.

Series: The Hunter and The Spider #1
Author(s): EM Jeanmougin, Jay Wright
Length: 357 pages

Genre: Urban Fantasy / Action & Adventure / Paranormal / Shifters / Hunters / Enemies to ? / Romantic Elements? /

Notes: I came across this in a FB group and was like, "Urban Fantasy, yay. Wait, Werespider? Yes, please."

Blurb: Where there’s demons, there’s bound to be demon hunters and in Brooklyn there’s no shortage of either.

Jasper Craig is a hunter at New York’s secret St. James Academy, and he’s one of the best. With superior strength, agility, and a handy ability to sense demonic energy, it’s like he was born for the job. Since he was orphaned at a young age, his parents took the secret of what, exactly, he is to their graves. And if his adoptive father knows, he’s not telling.

Loyal to the cause of keeping the mortal world safe from the evils of demons, there isn’t anything Jasper wouldn’t do. So when his father and superior officer tells him to go undercover to trick a rare and dangerous werespider, Jasper agrees.

Crimson Apocalypse is one of New York’s oldest residents and the only known werespider in the north eastern United States. He’s the sort of guy who lives as fast as he talks and talks as fast as he drives, and if Jasper wants to get closer to the werespider he’s going to have to keep up.

But getting closer might be dangerous in more ways than one and what Jasper learns may not be what he expects.

Strangers in the Night is a tense, action-filled urban fantasy. A story of self-discovery in a world where things are not always what they seem and the lines between good and evil are hard to draw.

Series: (Waves of Fate Book 1)
Author(s): Drea Roman
Length: 250 pages

Genre: Romance / Slow Burn / Paranormal / Shifter / Gay

Notes: So there was a cute meme going around about a waiter picking up someone's coat and giving it back to them. The selkie then romances the waiter. It was cute and sweet and someone was asking for books like that in an RH group. Someone recommended this, noting that it wasn't RH but M/M. I'm like, sign me up! I need something sweet.

Blurb: A marshmallow selkie with more heart than sense and a stubborn human with a guarded heart fall in love in this first story from the Waves of Fate universe.

“Oops! You dropped your coat!” With these words, waiter Daniel Collins turns selkie Gregory Samson’s life upside down. Because that coat is not some fancy heirloom fur. No, it is Gregory’s selkie pelt, which magically connects him with his seal animal inside.

When Gregory hears Daniel’s voice, he knows the human is his mate. Too bad Daniel has more than a few misgivings about trusting his heart to a selkie. Because the magical seal shifters have one of the worst player reputations of all shifter kind and Daniel fears a broken heart. How will Gregory convince Daniel to give him a chance?

It wouldn’t be so hard if Gregory’s mother and everyone else would just stop meddling!

Brought together by the magic of Gregory’s coat, can the pair weather insecurities, an interfering mother, meddling friends, and a disgruntled inner animal?

The Selkie’s Coat is a slow burn mm romance with a guaranteed HEA. It is book 1 of the Waves of Fate universe and can be read as a standalone.

Title: Thunder Moon
Series: (Alpha Triplets Book 2)
Author(s): Minerva Howe
Length: 124 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Alpha & Omega / Gay /

Notes: So I read Minerva's Dragon Hoard series which is mpreg and while waiting for book 3, I started her Triplets' series which has omegas but not mpreg. Different types of series but both were great reads. Now I need book 3 in both series. LOL

Blurb: Biker Jett Lowell knows rescued wolf shifter Sam is his mate. He just doesn't know if Sam is capable of taking his lifestyle as a biker, and his needs when it comes to love in stride. So he's stayed away for the better part of the year, which has been tough in more ways than one, since Sam has been staying with Jett's family. He missed them all, but when Sam starts talking about striking out on his own, Jett knows he has to act.

Former "worthless one" Sam knows he's not as fragile or scared as Jett thinks he is, despite his rough start in life. When he and his brothers and sister were rescued, Sam fell for Jett, and he knows what he wants, just not how to get it. Determined to become someone worthy of Jett, Sam starts making plans, but that pushes Jett to make his move. Sam meets Jett passion for passion. It's not the bedroom that sends Sam running. It's the noisy biker den Jett runs, and the rough men who remind Sam of his earlier life. Can they find a way to compromise and be the solid couple they both long to become?

Thank you for stopping by and reading!!
