What's on the Reading Radar? #WishList #Reading

What am I doing? Adding words to Cherish along with new scenes (finally finished reworking the issue chapters! Party! Party! Party!) But now I'm adding new chapters, which is an awesome feeling. It's already midway through February... wha... wha... Nooooo! I need more time. I'm going to be pushing to get the first draft of Cherish completed by the end of the month. Which means I'm going to let some of my side fun things, like the Reading Radar, go so that I can put all my time into writing, writing, and more writing. Wish me luck!

Title: Blindspot
Series: (Daydream, Colorado Book 1)
Author(s): AM rose
Length: 334 Pages

Genre: Romance / Urban Fantasy / Angsty / Second Chances /  Gay

Notes: This has a lot more angst that what I normally read. I was very interested in the secondary characters that we got a glimpse of and I'll be checking out book two which sounds like it will lean towards Hurt/Comfort trope.

Blurb: Standing out in a town like Daydream, Colorado should have been impossible to do, yet somehow Drew managed. All his life he had been the one everyone was looking at when he walked down the street. No matter how hard he'd tried to fit in, fingers pointed at his back and whispers followed his every step. Until it all got too much and he'd left Daydream. For good.

Among all the special people in Daydream, Mason was just a bit more special. He had the ability to see all sorts of things; private conversations, someone’s biggest mistakes, and their tiniest, most insignificant moments. But even with this ability to glance into the future, he didn’t see Drew leaving Daydream for good. He didn’t see Drew breaking his heart. And he definitely didn’t see him coming back.

**This book is the first in a series. It contains magical settings, best friends-turned lovers-turned strangers, a second-chance romance, and a lot of likable supporting characters. While it can be read as a standalone it's best enjoyed with the other titles in the series.
NOTE: A re-edited version uploaded on February 4th, 2021.

Series: Jon's Mysteries, 4
Author: AJ Sherwood
Length: 238 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Gay

Notes: Another great addition to Jon's books. <3

Blurb: Proposing vs defusing a bomb?

Defusing a bomb is much easier than proposing.

Defusing Donovan’s anger over getting on a plane to defuse said bomb? Harder than the bomb.

I am not liking these odds.

Is proposing supposed to be this difficult?

Jon and Donovan have a fight, as expected they’re very bad at it, things go BOOM, my kink is healthy processing and expressing of emotions, relationship lessons, life lessons, love is not based on worth, the dads are awesome, I put Jon on a plane, because I’m evil that way, personal space? What’s that?, cats, Jon has a new toy, no I’m not talking about Donovan, the bomb squad is ready to just keep Jon, road trip!, grandparents also rock, absolutely nothing goes according to plan

Series: (Valhalla Warriors Book 1)
Author: Rosie Jarvis
Length: 155 pages

Genre: Romance / Contemporary / Paranormal / Motorcycle Club / Hurt Comfort / Age Gap / Gay

Notes: Wish List

Blurb: An Immortal Biker Daddy walks into a bar…

Abbott McClain is on the run.

An infamous human trafficker and murderer is hot on his heels, and he has nowhere to go. When his car breaks down in a small Texas town, he has no choice but to seek help from a biker bar in the middle of nowhere. After a lifetime of rejection, he doesn’t want to trust anyone ever again. But when he meets a blue-eyed bear at the bar who promises him kindness and protection, he desperately wants to believe that this time things will be different.

James Alan Cutter is on a mission.

As a member of an immortal motorcycle club entrusted with protecting humanity, he shouldn’t be taking time off for romance. But something about Abbott stirs his Daddy nature.

When evil stalks the boy Cutter has fallen for, his brothers in arms come together to protect their love.

Cutter’s Mission is a 48K motorcycle club romance with an age gap, size difference, and hurt/comfort.

Series: Magic Emporium Series
Author: Rowan McAllister
Length: 242 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Contemporary / Gay

Notes:

Blurb: Ryan O’Byrne has rules: 1) no using his magic, 2) no getting dragged back into his family’s craziness, and 3) no dating supernaturals of any kind, especially shifters … in other words, nothing and no one who will tempt him to break rule number one.

But what if the gorgeous wall of muscle he can’t seem to stay away from just happens to be a shifter? Well, it is only a short-term thing, and he isn’t a master of denial for nothing.

Leo Holt can’t help it if he has a teeny tiny weakness for bad boys—not really bad, just a little prickly around the edges. Even for a unicorn, all sweetness and light, all the time, can get a little boring. But, falling for the eldest son of the dark witch family who runs his little West Virginia town might be getting his fingers too close to the fire, even for him.

For Ryan, it was supposed to be a simple trip back home to show support during a family crisis. But when hexes, secrets, a family demon, and the O’Byrne witches are involved, nothing is ever simple.

Hexes and Hornsis part of the Magic Emporium Series. Each book stands alone, but each one features an appearance by Marden’s Magic Emporium, a shop that can appear anywhere, but only once and only when someone’s in dire need. This book contains explicit sex scenes, a muscular moonshiner, a reluctant witch, a spooky best friend, and a guaranteed HEA.

Thank you for stopping by and reading!!
