Winner Announcement for the Birthday Bash

Well, I was going to take a picture of the boxes before I gave them over to the post office... Sorry, I became completely sidetracked. This shipping stuff out is no joke and I'm not quite half way done. I spent almost three hours at the post office this morning with only 14 packages. I still have another 17 to prep for shipping. I'm out of shipping supplies so I have to go to the store. Ha! The post office has stuff, half of what I sent today came from them, and oh buddy!!! I'm going to add a couple more !! because !! I'd forgotten you pay for that convenience. *gulp* Definitely going to the store. :)

Tonight, I'll start emailing out tracking information. I need to eat and go to the store and box up more stuff. I'm hoping that tomorrow morning at the post office isn't another three hours. Wish me luck! :)

In the end, I just hope that everyone had a good time with the Birthday Bash even if you had to listen to me read aloud. ;-P

  3. I underestimated myself. I thought, "Shipping will be easy." I don't want to say that I have OCD, but the number of times I cross checked my list with the bundles and peoples names was ridiculous. I kept thinking that I was going to miss something or someone was going to get the wrong box. Then at the post office when I ran out of stuff I was like I'll just use their boxes but they only had priority. I was like, "How bad could that be?" I laughed myself out of the post office. I used the wrong labels and had to scrape them off and since I didn't have any labels of my own, I sharpie'd the addresses directly onto the boxes. It was such a hot mess. But I take to day as a learning curve. I know all the things not to do now and tomorrow I'll be in and out in an hour, tops. LOLOLOLOLOL!

  4. So in addition of being an author you've now almost passed the logistics management role <3 .. It's never easy.. even more when you have to ship international.. And as that is my part of my daily job I give you an online hug as I know the hassle hahaha

    1. LOL! Today I'm ready. I've been up since 4 a.m. putting packages together. Yesterday, I forgot to insert the thank you cards. Today it's all there. The most difficult part will 1) carrying everything into the post office by myself, and 2) filling out the international declaration slips.
