Birthday Bash Announcement and other Reminders #giveaway

I'm sipping my first cup of coffee for the morning and realized it was already Friday. I have stuff to share.

First on the list is my Birthday. It is coming up on September 17th and I'm going to have a week long Birthday Bash for myself. I'm not turning some pinnacle number that needs black balloons and dead roses, I'll only be 44. I usually have a quiet birthday and pretty much treat it like any other day of the week. There have been times that I've forgotten my birthday. My husband will tell you all about showing up with balloons or wrapped gifts and I'm like, "Okay, what did you do?" I wanted to have a little fun this year but didn't want to say anything if I couldn't figure what the hell I was going to do, you know? Now I have a list.

There is going to be a huge giveaway. I'll have pictures in a couple of days but believe me it's big.

Not only am I giving away bundles of my series and standalones, I will have surprise bundles. There's a story behind the surprise bundles. LT3 Press had a 25% off sale on their paperbacks last week and I was looking through my shelves to see what I had. I forget and sometimes I accidentally order duplicates. I, in fact, had two duplicates on the shelves and as I pulled them off I thought to myself, "I needed to clean off my shelves and either donate them to the library to take them into Half Price Books."

Then I had a thought. Why not give those away as well.

I put up a query on FaceBook, asking if authors minded. Everyone who replied was positive and so I started cleaning off my shelves with giddy excitement because I LOVE sharing books and I LOVE more sharing my favorite books. Some of the books on the shelves were older and there was a chance readers had already read them, but I bought some newer books to mix into the surprise bundles.

Along with the giveaway, everyday I'm going to have something special. I'll be reading excerpts from: Werewolf's Tale and a Druid's
Sword, Death Mask, Releasing Chaos, Ruby Red Booty Shorts and a Louisville Slugger, Darksoul, and Devil's Heart(I'm still working out how to record the video on my computer.)

Bespoken is in the early stages, but I do have the Play List to share to give you the idea of the tone for the book.

I'll also be running a Create a Tag Line contest with Amazon gift cards as prizes.

And... I think that's it. I should have already started getting this stuff put together but it was a last minute decision. I came back from vacation refueled and just jazzed about what I wanted to do before the end of the year. I have a feeling this coming week is going to be crazy but fun. I haven't picked out the excerpts I want to read yet... LMAO!

All right, on to the reminders. The giveaway for the Werewolf's Tale and a Druid's Sword blog tour is still going on. This will end on the 16th so there is still time to enter if you already haven't. And if you have, you can enter every day until the close of the giveaway.

I've attached the widget to the end of this blog post but if you wanted to read the guest posts or exclusive excerpts, I've attached the links to the posts. Enjoy!

    1. Birthdays are wierd for me because they are just another day. And I hate the question, "What do you want for your birthday?" Really, nothing. Well, perhaps a great cup of joe. :)

  5. I think ION should be a movie. People jumping off buildings, fighting with swords, and falling in love! What's not to love?

    Happy birthday!
