Where Am I? Why over at the Armchair Reader

Hey everyone. I'm over at the Armchair Reader today with an excerpt of Dreams of the Forgotten and a chance to win a e-book copy. CLICK HERE to be redirected to the post.

Quick side note: If you haven't commented on Tristan's and Ushna's interview posted over on the Hearts On Fire Review site, hurry up!  Hearts will quit taking entries for the e-book giveaway Saturday night. April 1st, I am participating in RJ Scott's Blog Tour for autism awareness. So many prizes to win so make sure you come back!!

For those who are going to hang out for a second I have a quick excerpt for you. At GoodReads M/M Romance group they are having their annual Love Has No Bounds event. Photos are posted and people pick one and write a short story.

I have been a member of the group for three years but not always as an author. So this is my first year participating in the event. I chose Mandy's photo which has three gorgeous gentlemen. Her "Dear Author" plea went like this.

Dear Author,

These men love each other and are happy together, but one of them (the one on the left)is starting to succumb to the pressures of being in a ménage relationship. Something the outside world doesn`t even want to try and understand. He´s not sure if he should let them go, so at least they can be together without all the added stress their kind of love brings, but doesn´t he know they will never let him go.
Please no D/s or BDSM and a very HEA would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Mandy

Who can blame me from I snatching this bad boy up. Once a week I will share some writing music, and small excerpts on the GoodReads thread.  The story is cranking along pretty good and I'm very please so far with the outcome. Today, I'm sharing an excerpt I posted over there earlier today.  It's a first draft so it's a little blocky and this scene may not even make it through the edits. This is from Brock's POV (he's on the right in the photo).Enjoy!!

Tentative Blurb:

Trent Harte is a potential first round draft running back who the NFL is clamoring over. For the last two years, he's been living with his two lovers, AJ Barnes and Brock Everette. Life is perfect. Neither one of his partners are comfortable with public displays, therefore; they never worried their unconventional relationship would be discovered—until a couple of weeks ago. Caught in a compromising position by a fellow teammate, rumors abound. It is hard enough to be an openly gay football player, but along with the gossip comes the moral lectures, snide comments, and people who stare as if they are a museum display adds to his stress. Now there are threats against his partners' livelihoods and Trent begins to wonder if it isn't better for him to step back from the relationship. He would never be able to forgive himself if something happened to his lovers.

After this last game, AJ and Brock know there is something wrong because Trent isn't talking. They are all under added pressure but Trent's behavior is different, there is something more going on because they can sense him pulling away. William Harte, Trent's father calls, and both of them know the cold bastard will only add to Trent's distress. AJ and Brock refuse to let him walk these new trials alone and call for reinforcements. Will Trent be swayed by any one of the many reasons why he should leave Brock and AJ? Will they be too late to convince Trent that they are playing for keeps?

Excerpt:

"I'll be glad when your hair grows out again," AJ commented as Brock approached.

He ran hand over his short hair. He'd cut off the dirty-blond locks for the internship interview. The cut was similar to AJ's. "Not attractive?" He knew he should've had a simple trim. He wasn't as handsome as his lovers. They had the hard bodies and he was getting a pooch because he liked rich food. His hair was his only attractive asset, or so he thought.

AJ crowded up behind Brock when he went to open a door. "You are one handsome man, Brock Everett." Hot breath skittered over the shell of his ear. AJ was close enough that he could feel the man's body heat through his clothing. "I don't know what has gotten into you here lately about your appearance. Bottom line, Trent and I will make love to you until you feel as gorgeous as we know you to be. Besides, who said I liked your hair for anything other than holding onto?"

Brock shivered, his pulse picking up as he considered the possibilities. AJ reach past Brock, grasped the door handle, and pulled. He moved his laptop bag in front of his groin to hide the evidence of his arousal. AJ smirked but didn't comment. The traffic in the hallway discouraging anymore conversation that caused the sexual heat to rise. But it was too late. Brock was hard and wanting. He hoped that Trent wouldn't be long because he needed to be at home with his guys.
