What's on the Reading Radar? #WishList #TBR #reading

Just have to say, the last few weeks have flown by for me. We are approaching mid-March and I'm like, "Where'd the time go?" Look behind you, that is where it went.

I've been doing a lot of book sampling and a I have some preorders waiting for me to crack them open, but my moooooddddd. I'm a mood reader and I just can't find what I'm looking for. It might be because I don't know. LOL

Series:
Author: Robin Blackwell
Length: 165 pages

Genre: Romance / Fantasy / Mystery / Gay

Notes: This caught my eye when it went on preorder. I haven't read this author before but the story sounds intriguing.

Blurb: Leoven, youngest prince of Daziralm, has been fighting on the front lines of what seems like a pointless war between his country and their neighbors, Fathor, when he receives word that his entire family, save his only little sister, has been killed and his family’s guardian deity, Indiris, has awakened from his centuries-long slumber.

Leoven returns home to find a younger sister deeply in mourning, a Fathorn ambassador eager to resume talks of a mysterious treaty, a distinct lack of clues in the deaths of his parents and younger siblings, and a minor god far more beautiful than his statues had ever led Leoven to believe.

Can Leoven unravel the mystery behind his family’s death and restore the fragile peace between Daziralm and Fathor before he falls afoul of his family’s killer? They say that minor gods can perform minor miracles in the service of their family, but will that be enough?

Series:
Author: Travis Baldree
Length: 318 pages

Genre: High Fantasy / Romantic Elements /

Notes: I actually bought this on audio. It seems like it will be fun.

Blurb: High Fantasy with a double-shot of self-reinvention

Worn out after decades of packing steel and raising hell, Viv the orc barbarian cashes out of the warrior’s life with one final score. A forgotten legend, a fabled artifact, and an unreasonable amount of hope lead her to the streets of Thune, where she plans to open the first coffee shop the city has ever seen.

However, her dreams of a fresh start pulling shots instead of swinging swords are hardly a sure bet. Old frenemies and Thune’s shady underbelly may just upset her plans. To finally build something that will last, Viv will need some new partners and a different kind of resolve.

A hot cup of fantasy slice-of-life with a dollop of romantic froth.

Series:
Author: Eden Winters
Length: 315 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / Gay

Notes: This is waiting on my reader. It seems like it's going to be hurt/comfort

Blurb: If they stop running, they die.

Slade Slater’s had a great life until he pissed off a sorcerer, who dooms Slade to a life of endless wandering. Linger anywhere for more than a month and his life is forfeit. The only way to break the evil curse? Sacrifice true love. Which won't be an option anytime soon. Slade's been alone for a long time. Cursed nomads, it turns out, are a solitary bunch. After all, who could fall in love with a man who can never settle down? But everything changes the night he stumbles upon an injured shifter.

Noah's never known the companionship of a pack and desperately longs for the security of his own kind. Danger stalks him, forcing him to spend his life hiding from humans until a cursed human lights up his bleak world. Saved from near death by the sexy stranger with tats for days and a big, black Harley, Noah finds that, while he might be the only werewolf in the eastern US, he doesn't have to be alone.

Though they’re stalked by ruthless enemies, Slade and Noah might be each other’s salvation.

If they can outrun the hunters.

Title: Saga #1

Each following episode are $1.99 or 2.99 for the new ones or you can read it on KU. Or 2) you can go with Saga Vol. 1 (which are episodes 1 - 6) for 4.99 or KU. There are 9 Volumes or 59 episodes.

Blurb: SAGA is the sweeping tale of one young family fighting to find their place in the worlds. When two soldiers from opposite sides of a never-ending galactic war fall in love, they risk everything to bring a fragile new life into a dangerous old universe.
