What's on the Reading Radar? #TBR #WishList #read

What am I doing? Working on getting Sumeria's Sons onto Amazon's Kindle Unlimited. The series has been rebranded with gorgeous covers by Natasha Snow. This was one of my summer projects and I'm tickled the books are finally going back up. :)

Title: The Nut Job

Series

Author(s): Freddy MacKay

Length: 198 pages

Genre: Romance / Sci-Fi / Aliens / Librarian / Gay

Notes:

BlurbWhy aren't simple jobs ever simple?

All Captain Spencer had to do was drop off a new recruit to their OIL contact on Earth and gather a new supply of walnuts for the council on Mithuana for the yearly Coming of Age celebration. Simple, right? One slight problem. Spencer and his crew look less than human, which has caused problems when they've visited the backwater Sol planet before.

When two of his crew get caught unaware by a human hunter hell-bent on proving the Sasquatch's existence, they are suddenly on the run for their lives—wounded crew and all.

All Raijin wanted was a weekend away from all the crazy around town and his work at the library. With the anniversary of his dad's death looming, Raijin needs some alone time hiking through the forest where he and his dad used to spend time together. What could possibly interrupt him in the middle of nowhere? But Raijin should know better than anyone life does not go according to plan.

A talking demon squirrel was the last thing he expected to fall in his lap.

Title: The Demon of Hagermarsh

Series(Virasana Empire: Sir Yaden Book 1)

Author(s): Beryll & Osiris Brackhaus

Length: 277 pages

Genre: Sci-Fi / Space Opera / Paranormal Aliens? / Knights, Monsters, and deities /

Notes:

Blurb“The Emperor cares for each and every one of his subjects.”

Many consider the catchphrase of the imperial Lotus Knights to be nothing more but well-polished propaganda, but for Yaden, it is a way of life.

A young Lotus Knight himself, his first mission in service of the Emperor sends him to the remote village of Hagermarsh, a suspiciously friendly place on a planet known for its inhospitable people. But how to uncover a demonist coven when nothing bad ever happens?
Getting to know the villagers only complicates things - the motherly fishmonger surely isn’t a demonist. Nor the gruff leader of the local militia. And definitely not the cute baker from across the street.

Or are they?

Come discover a dazzling, hopeful universe of knights and monsters, of psions, aliens and ancient deities! The Demon of Hagermarsh is the first book of ‘Sir Yaden’, an epic SF saga of grand adventure, romance, bromance and family, set in the multi-faceted Virasana Empire. It is a romantic adventure and can be read as a standalone.

Title: Jaguar and Grizzly

Series(Apex Investigations Book 2)

Author(s): Julia Talbot

Length: 168 pages

Genre: Romance / Paranormal / PI Investigations / Gay

Notes: Great read (or re-read in this case) and I'm ready to jump into the next book which released here recently.

BlurbA client with a cheating wife, a warehouse of cult members, and someone with a deadly vendetta—just a day’s work for Apex Investigations. Or is it?

Bear shifter “Grizz” Locke is ex-military and ready for PI work, which if not exactly safe seems less likely to get him killed on a daily basis. The added bonus of teaming up with former lover, Brock, a jaguar shifter, is all the incentive Grizz needs.

Brock can be a grumpy kitty, but has found a home and family at Apex. And now as luck would have it, he has a chance to rekindle his romance with Grizz. They might even rebuild their mate bond, severed years ago—as long as they don't manage to get killed first.

When an enemy targets the Apex team, Brock and Locke will fight with all they have to protect their own. To enjoy life and love as fate intended, they will have to find out who wants them dead before someone at the agency pays the ultimate price.

Title: Broken Warrior

Series: (The Weavers Circle Book 1)

Author(s): Jocelynn Drake, Rinda Elliott

Length: 332 pages

Genre: Romance / Urban Fantasy / Gay

Notes:

BlurbClay Green

A brotherhood? Monsters? Goddesses? Magic?

The world has become a strange place.

After a life on the run, Clay Green is rescued by a crazy old lady with a shotgun and an even crazier story about monsters, goddesses, and a secret brotherhood.

Gifted with the power of the earth, Clay must locate his missing “brothers” before invading monsters can destroy everything.

As if that’s not enough to contend with, Clay can’t keep his hands off the man trying to rebuild the plantation house he’s temporarily living in.

Dane Briggs

Something strange is going on…

Dane knew restoring the old plantation house wasn’t going to be an easy job, but at least none of the clients were going to be underfoot. Since losing his wife and child, the only way Dane can keep going is to focus on the work.

But that focus crumbles the second Clay appears covered in blood and barely hanging on to life.

Mystery and danger cling to Clay and the other men who suddenly show up. A smart man would walk away.

Dane chucks smart out the window in favor of hungry kisses and the silken slide of skin against skin. He doesn’t understand what’s happening, but there’s no question that Clay needs him.

He’s just not sure his heart can survive being broken again if something happens to Clay.

Broken Warrior is the first book in The Weavers Circle series. It includes fast-paced action, explosions, hurt/comfort, sexy times, animal shenanigans, wounded hearts, three crazy old ladies, and magic!

Title: Loving My Omega

He doesn't want to leave his friend, but maybe it's time Sam starts thinking of his future. He wants love and a family of his own, and pining after his best friend is a little time consuming.

Quickly, Sam and Teague learn that they are better together than apart. The real question, though, is are they better as friends or lovers?

BlurbIt’s in the headlines every day. Another child abused, and another abuser let off easy. Or worse, getting away with their crimes. Pedophiles and abusers are actively protected by those in power. Riddled with corruption, and profiteering off the victims, the justice system has failed.

Alexi has experienced it personally, on every level, and she’s had enough.

With the help of her friend, a wolf shifter named Rabbit, she will take matters into her own hands. Her lover is Hector, an unreasonably sexy latin vampire, and he joins the fight to protect their child from growing up in a world with a shady undercurrent of evil.

Then her mates show up. Hyena shifters, and twins, Satyr and Siren will do anything for her. Including joining her quest to rid the world of the wrong sort of predators. Karma will find them all.
