What is on the Reading Radar? #reading #wishlist #TBR

What am I doing? Typing, typing, and more typing. So close to finishing this WIP!!!

Title: Hear Me Out
Series: Hawks MC: Caroline Springs Charter Series, Book 5
Author: Lila Rose
Length:
Publisher:

Genre: Romance / Contemporary / Bikers / Humor / Death MC /

Notes: This can be read as a standalone. It has been a long time since I have read contemporary romance and I really loved these two characters together. The waxing scene made me laugh until i cried. Excellent narrator.

Blurb: Fear keeps the truth away from his brothers. Fear and pain keeps him away from the man he loves.

Hawks MC member Maddox "Beast" Lawson had a difficult time growing up. Tired of being ridiculed because of his effed-up brain-to-mouth connection, it was easier to say nothing at all. Living in silence worked out just fine until that b*tch called Fate took his hearing, not only that, but she also threw him into the arms of the man who refuses to acknowledge that one hot night they shared.

Title: Out of the Blue
Series: In the Carolina Springs World
Author: Lila Rose
Length: 382 pages
Publisher:

Genre: Romance / Contemporary / Poly / Humor /

Notes: This was a great read.

Blurb: At forty, Lan Davis is looking for his damned picket fence and 2.5 kids. What he doesn’t expect is instead of a wife in the picture, his mind keeps conjuring up images of two men. One, his partner in the force, who is as straight as they came, the other an ex, who he’d hurt but never forgot.

After an incident leaves Lan injured, the two men rally around him… only maybe they shouldn’t have. It seems a medicated Lan is a truthful one.

Parker Wilding is pissed at the world. His anger builds when his partner refuses medical care after an attack. Instead, Lan entrusts his neighbour to take care of him—a guy Parker doesn’t trust. While he’s aware they share a history, when the past is revealed, the truth shocks the hell out of him.

Being emotionally crushed ten years ago, Easton Ravel hoped he would never have to see the man who broke him again. Hope is a fickle b*itch. And now he’s not sure how to handle being face-to-face with the man he once loved. Add in the mix the annoying, testy Parker, and Easton finds his limits are pushed.

Just not in the way he thought they would be.

What happens next sure does come out of the blue.

Title: Perfect Pride
Series: Gesa's Menagerie, 9
Author: Kaye Draper
Length: 170 pages
Publisher:

Genre: Romance / Poly / Urban Fantasy / Paranormal /

Notes: Happy and sad this is the final book in the series. I have highly enjoyed the series and look forward to whatever Kaye Draper is working on.

Blurb: The final book in the sexy, snarky, no-holds-barred Gesa's Menagerie series!

Gesa just wanted to finally settle down for some damned peace and quiet with her pride. But of course her kraken has decided to go off looking for long-lost family...and now the ancient sea monster has fallen into the clutches of the sirens.

Once she gets Kai back home, Gesa is going to ban the pride from leaving the house. Permanently. Krakens attack, gryphons rampage, demons plot, and all the monsters finally find a home.

This is the last book in the main series, with a spin-off planned at a later date.

Title: Ends, Means, Laws, and an Angry Ship
Series: Claimings Universe
Author: Lyn Gala
Length: 256 pages
Publisher:

Genre: Romantic Elements / Sci-Fi / Slow Burn /

Notes: I'm almost finished with this and it is excellent.

Blurb: The new Rownt contracts have helped Command retake the rebel planets. And now refugees are fleeing toward the edges of space. Ex-Command officer Tyce Robinson has a price on his head. He and the crew of the Dragon have all broken laws, and they refuse to be condemned to an Earth prison. Tyce's grand escape plan goes south when an alien ship attacks both his ship and the Command cruiser chasing them. With both ships disabled, Tyce throws a Hail Mary. What he doesn't know is that his academy roommate is the officer charged with arresting him.

Sub-Commander John Burden has always put his world first. He once thought his academy roommate Tyce was the same. Command sends John out with orders to arrest his ex-best friend, leaving John caught between demanding an explanation from the friend he remembers or throwing the traitor in a prison cell. But when unfamiliar aliens attack, his feelings are unimportant in the face of immediate danger. He has to survive, protect his people, and warn Earth that the Anla and Rownt are not the only aliens interested in humanity.
