What is on the Reading Radar? #WishList #TBR

It's been a busy week with the sorting through things and packing while I'm trying to get in a good writing day. I keep making lists so that I don't forget something, which is one of my biggest concerns right now.

Title: The Stag
Series: Wild Hunt, 1
Author: Stephanie Burke
Length: 111 pages

Genre: Romance / Multicultural / Interracial / Fantasy / Gay /

Notes: releases June 26th

Blurb: Thomas Bright never would have dropped his glamour if he’d known he’d be going into heat. The one night he decides to cut loose at the decadent BDSM club, the Wild Hunt, just happens to be the one night he meets his mate.

Now The Stag, Kern, is on the prowl -- but he wants more than a one night stand with his perfect Faunus. If he can only convince his little mate to take a chance on him, and still protect his not-so-innocent lover from those who would do him ill for the magic contained in his body…

Title: Sub Zero
Series: An ESTO UNIVERSE Story
Author: Angel Martinez
Length: 182 pages

Genre: Romance / Sci-Fi / Mystery / Gay /

Notes: Releases on June 16th

Blurb: Returning to the frozen planet Aren died on was bound to have complications...

A Science Fiction Mystery from Angel Martinez...

Major Aren Dalsgaard's newest assignment is to investigate a series of murders on the frigid planet, Drass, where relations between the Treaty settlers and the indigenous inhabitants have taken a nasty turn. A linguist and trained xenologist, Major Dalsgaard should be the ideal Special Investigations Officer for this case, but Drass is where he died, over a hundred and twenty years ago.

Sent by his family to the chigyel city, Nyachung finds himself confronted with a murder charge, racial prejudice, and a man who claims to be a hero from his grandmother’s generation. The man could be crazy or he could be lying to manipulate Nyachung, but the sincerity in those spring-green eyes disturbs him more than anything else he's encountered in the foreigners’ city.

Evidence that makes no sense, mysterious boxes, and a suspicion that they can't trust anyone in the city drives the major and Nyachung together and out into the wilderness. No one's telling Major Dalsgaard everything, but every step leads him closer to a feeling of imminent catastrophe if he can't wrap this case up in time.

Publisher's Note
This is the second edition of the story. The only changes made were edits.

Series:
Author: Alex Sliver
Length: 224 pages

Genre: Romance / Mystery / Paranormal (Ghosts) / Gay / Trans /

Notes:

Blurb: When ghosts reach across the veil, Daniel Collins is there to tell their stories.

Dan is a vlogging ghost hunter. He has devoted his life to documenting paranormal activity. In his converted van, he travels around the country exploring haunted sites. He loves the thrill of filming restless spirits.

Chad Brewer, skeptic, works for an insurance company. He doesn’t believe in ghosts, but watching Dan’s vlog is his guilty pleasure. The cute vlogger is accident prone. He has Chad’s work extension on speed-dial. The two talk whenever Dan gets hurt during an investigation, a frequent occurrence.

When Chad loses his job for approving too many claims, Dan offers him a position as his personal assistant. The pair sets out to investigate a haunted dairy barn for the vlog’s next video series. The catch is that they must live and work together in Dan’s tiny traveling home.

As the paranormal activity at the haunted dairy ramps up, so does the romantic tension between the two men. Can the love between a skeptic and a social media sensation conquer a vengeful ghost?

Dan's Hauntastic Haunts is a paranormal MM romance between a gay vlogger and his trans personal assistant. Buckle up for a hauntastic good time.

This romance novel is set in an alternate-universe Victorian Era without magic or other fantasy elements.

Series: The Quentin Strange Mysteries Book 1
Author: Dean Cole
Length: 242 pages

Genre: Romance / Mystery / Paranormal / LGBT Romance /

Notes: This was recommended to me and released June 12th.

Blurb: Haunted pasts. Terrifying apparitions. Dark secrets.

Quentin Strange is … well, strange. But it isn’t just his anachronistic sayings and dress sense, the fact that he’s a socially awkward, book-loving loner who’s possibly still a virgin at nearly thirty. He’s seeing and hearing things. Odd things. Ghostly things.

Getting the gig as photographer for The Cricklewood Gazette, he travels with his new partner, journalist Katrina (make sure you call her Kat) Brannigan, to Hilderley Manor, an enormous manor house nestled in the remote countryside of Northern England that is believed to be one of Britain’s most haunted buildings. The pair join a ghost hunting team and a group of fellow guests for a long weekend of ghostly activities.

But something dark haunts the draughty corridors of the house. And it links to a decades-old mystery that is about to be uncovered.

A mystery like no other. A story of the supernatural. Of death, and what it does to the living. The first book in a new series, Chasing Ghosts is a quirky British mystery that explores the supernatural elements of our world with touches of LGBT romance, humour and horror.

Thank you for stopping by and reading!!
