What's on the Reading Radar? #TBR #WishList

What have I been up to? Releasing Chaos edits and writing flash fiction pieces for the blog tour in August. I missed a couple of these reading radar posts because of how busy I've been. There is a bit of extra stress over Releasing Chaos because I want it to be flawless and the best book of the whole series. It needs to wrap up all the loose ends as well as go out with a 'bang'. I want people to cry at the places I cried writing. I want them to laugh and rejoice and maybe a few fist-pumps in there a couple of times. Honestly, I'll be happy if people just like if. :)

I made some time this week for a short list for the Reading Radar. Enjoy!

When heat sparks between him and Lord Hawthorne, Zach gleefully dives into a no-strings arrangement. He doesn't expect it to last beyond arrival at Drion, any more than he expects trouble along the way.

Cephas woke up ten years ago without any memory of who he was or the life he once led, but he's always known what he is: a hunter. As a vampire-werewolf hybrid, Cephas shouldn't even exist, but he makes the most of his exile status by preying on the monsters who harm innocents. The hunt gives him a mission, a purpose, but when it leads him into the arms of a beautiful vampire king as cruel as he is seductive, the hunter becomes the hunted.

Captured to be studied for his impossible dual nature, Cephas discovers that torture is just the beginning of what Alesandre has in store. The Vampire Court is full of broken and bloody threads, and pulling any one of them might unravel a past that neither man is prepared to face. As Cephas is drawn into a spiral of vampire politics, an ancient war and his own broken memories, Alesandre will either be his downfall or the key to his hidden origins. Or, like, Cephas himself, a bit of both.

Animal Control calls take a disturbing turn, though, when Wolf and his lizard-man partner, Krisk, discover the impossibly mummified bodies of rats and an unfortunate mother cat. The rescue of the cat’s sole surviving kitten not only gives Wolf more time with Jason, which is both perplexing and wonderful, but also leads to dangerous discoveries. Something inconceivable stalks the city and its officers of the law. Wolf has to figure out what it is before it can attack and drain the life from the people and the kitten he loves.
