Release Day! Keep The Stars Running

Today the anthology Keep the Stars Running is released. Whoot! This is my first anthology contribution and The Aurora Conspiracy is the first story I've written that stayed below 30k-ish.. there about... okay I might have been a smidge over. But I will say that when I submitted the story it was 29998 in word count. The call's top limit was 30k, so technically I was under the bar. ^_^ Barely. Later, editing added a little bit more.

Make sure you stop by Joyfully Jay Reviews on Friday, May 15th for my RainbowCon 2015 post. I'll talk about where the story started and a sneak peak at an excerpt.

Today, I'm sharing a quick blurb on The Aurora Conspiracy. Enjoy!!

The Aurora Conspiracy

Blurb:

Several years ago, an accident had almost claimed Regin Valenta's life, and stolen away the person he'd loved. For the last four and half years, he's licked his wounds on a mining station on the edge of nowhere, working as a crane operator for Aurora Minerals and Rare Metals. His cybernetic limb pains him, but he's learned to live with the discomfort, just as he's finally beginning to believe he can make a life without the man he'd loved above all. With six months left on his contract, he can leave and finish his geology degree, ready to begin anew.

But the arrival the Fraternity's constables suddenly adds a complication Regin's didn't count on. Someone is blackmailing Aurora Minerals and Rare Metals and Regin's their number one suspect. Details of the accident that almost took his life are being dug up, and a love he thought beyond salvaging barges back into his world. Does Regin walk away or will he dare to grab hold of a second chance at happiness? Is it possible for him to regain everything he ever wanted only for a saboteur to steal it away again?

Thank you for stopping by and reading!!
