A Lycan descendant of Gilgamesh and Enkidu, Tristan is not as extraordinary as his ancestors. He is an average warrior, unremarkable throughout. But this fact does not trouble him because he has found his Twin Flame, the one person destined to be his, who will love him unconditionally, life after life.

Then his Flame betrays him, leaving him shattered and dying. Brokenhearted, Tristan dissolves the sacred bond and leaves. His best friend, Ushna, accompanies him, vowing to guard and protect him, and Tristan slowly comes to realize that love does not require a sacred bond.

But if he hopes to keep the love he chooses, they will first have to survive ancient secrets, lies, mythical creatures, and the return of absent gods…

    2. Hi Persse! I'm soooo sorry for the wait. But I am thoroughly tickled that you have enjoyed Sumeria's Sons that much. I hope you find the last two books in the series just as good. I'll be adding Ushna's and Nikita's POVs because there is much that needs to happen for their HEA. Thank you for reaching out and tell me. This has made my day.

      On a side note, with the re-release of the series I'll be doing some paperback copy giveaways the weeks of each release. During those releases, I'll have a schedule on the blog if you're interested. ^_^ {{hugs}}

    3. Hum... Sorry I'm French so what his a paperback? Real Book?

      And it was really well done... We don't have the time to take a breath... all add up nicely. There is drama (I cry more than once and I would have kill theo!!!) but not too much and not add forcefully so there is action. And I like the... Arff how to say that... To see how Tristan fight with what he fell... We can relate to him it's what give real live to the story... to see all the emotion and internal fight I love that!!

      Well when you say "'ll be adding Ushna's and Nikita's POVs" you mean that you will add a side story With the story of Angelo, Nikita & Seth ? Sorry again but what is POV & HEA??

    4. Hum... POV I thinks it's for Point of view... If so it would be great to see it from Ushna & Nikita!!! And if Paperback is paper-book you bet I would want! I like e-book because it's practical but I love a good old paper-book in hand!!! But I'm from France It wouldn't be free to send it to me so maybe only e-book is good.

      Well ciao

    5. I am so sorry for the confusion! Yes, paperback is a real book. Yes, POV is 'point of view' which would be from Ushna and Nikita as well as Tristan's for the next two books. For the contests, when called for, I do ship the prizes out of country.

      I cried a little bit when I wrote Surrounded by Crimson and I am so happy that you cared enough for these men to cry a little for them, too. I tried to make sure that their struggle, Tristan's struggle with trying to do what was right by Ushna and Nikita reflected what anyone would struggle with when they truly love someone that deeply. I am very happy that struggle came through, making the story feel more real and something you could relate to. {{hugs}}

  2. So, I bought this story in sep 2013. Is the any reason to rebuy? I did also buy the vol.2 in paperback format last spring, and own only those 2.. I do not know how many words you have added to the books.

    1. Hi Bubba! For Twin Flames, the editing done to the story only smoothed out how it reads. Twin Flames was my first published book and my writing had noticeably improved since then so I attempted to bring up the prose without making major changes. It was choppy before but now the reading flow is better and passive verbs were removed. The content and story didn't change and only minimal words (probably around 1k) were added to clarify things here and there. No new scenes were added. If you read the story previously the plot and action stayed the same. You don't have to repurchase this if you're already satisfied with the reading experience. :-)

      As for the second book, Songs of the Earth, I'm working on the edits for that right now. I don't plan on adding new content, but if I do I'll make a note of it in this section of the blog. If extra word count is added I'll make sure to give the figure to make it easier to decide what you want to do.

      I hope I answered all of your questions. ^_^

      All My Best,
      Lexi

  3. Arfff I remember too late for the hard book... Shame on me!!!

  4. First, I want to say I absolutely love your work. I don't have the words to say how much I love both the Valespian Pact and Sumeria's Sons series. But OMG, I think you must be George R.R. Martin's long lost twin because you are both masters in cruel and unusual punishment. I know it's unfair of us to cry and moan our impatience, but those strange sounds you hear at night are my whimpers of pain as I suffer through spasms of withdrawal waiting for next book on those series!

    Yes, I am shamelessly trying to guilt trip your creative juices into getting going on them. :D

    I actually check your blog almost every day to see if there is any progress on the word count of Bespoken and Releasing Chaos. It's actually become part of my daily routine. I think my neighbors thought me a little crazy when I started shouting YES! YES! YES! then broke into a frenzied happy dance when I saw Releasing Chaos had hit 86% completion on word count.

    I've just finished rereading the whole Sumeria's Sons series for the 6th time! Yeah, I enjoy them that much :D. I will probably read them again once or twice more while you finish the last book. For all my whining though, when a book is worth it, I will wait however long for it (heck, I waited 17 years to finally get the conclusion of Stephen King's Dark Tower series!)

    So keep up the good work. I'll be among the first to snag a copy of Releasing Chaos as soon as it's released.

    Cheers!

    1. Oh, Regine, so terribly sorry for your sufferings of withdrawal. :)

      I'm tickled to hear you love Sumeria's Sons and the Valespian Pact so much. Knowing this does my heart good. <3 You'll be excited to hear that I'm in the process of self-editing Releasing Chaos. The word count on the meter is an estimated one because more than half the story is handwritten and I need to transcribe it. When I'm finished with the edit's I'll update the meter to reflect the ending word count before sending it out to beta readers. So it'll sit at 86% for a couple of weeks. With luck, I'll have all the editing finished in the next couple of week. Wish me bunches of luck!

      You'll also be excited to hear that Bespoken is my next writing project. I hope people will enjoy the direction Prometheus insists we need to go for his part of the story. ;P

      Thank you so much for reaching out. You're note was a wonderful thing to wake up to. Hope you have a wonderful week and good reading!

      All My Best,
      Lexi

    2. Hihi! Glad it helped you start the day positively!

      FYI, your (incredibly prompt) response caused my neighbors to "enjoy" another round of frenzied happy dance, courtesy of yours truly! You're giving me hope I'll finally get my fix in the not so distant future. :D

      Cheers!

  5. This series is amazing. I fell in love with Tristan, Ushna, And everyone. Even the people brought in in Dragon's eye. I wish this would be made into a series of movies, but they would ruin it. Cant wait for Releasing Chaos.The world description, emotions and conflict has been magnificent from the begining. We see the characters growth, low points,etc. Cant wait.

    1. Thank you! It's awesome to hear how much you love the series, especially now when I've just finished the MS for the last book. With luck, I'll have it polished and submitted to the publisher by the end of the month. Tomorrow (August 4th) I've scheduled a blog post that will include a teaser excerpt so check back for updates!

      Thank you for reaching out. I'm always tickled to hear when someone loves my stories. <3 <3
