Edits on Leap of Faith

I finished the final edits on a short story that will be in the anthology, Silver Presents: Love is Love. Leap of Faith is my first printed contemporary.  That's right, no magic, or paranormal people or creatures, and no alternate universe. Nope. It's just a couple of guys who have a chance meeting.

I had this idea in my little book of "Possibilities" for almost two years.  It was one of those "what if" scenarios, i.e. What would happen if there was a guy waiting for an elevator wearing nothing but boy shorts, glitter, and silver go-go boots? And what if  this double-wide biker with deltoids that could snap go-go dude in half just by flexing was waiting for the same elevator?  What would happen? How did they come to be there? What do they say to each other?  Friends or foes? Meet Benjamin Hamilton (go-go dude) and Dawson Green. No everything is what it seems on the surface. I hope you like them because you may be seeing much more of them in the future.

The release date is February 9th.
It is available for pre-sale HERE

Blurb for Leap of Faith:

Ben thought he had everything he wanted. A successful marketing business, a beautiful home, and a partner he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. That was until the ultimate act of betrayal crushed his dreams.

After building his business from scratch with his lover, Ben prepared to take the next step and marry Javier, the man he loved. How could he have known that being the surprise at Javier's bachelor party would change everything? Heartbroken and lost, a chance encounter with a kind stranger gives him a helping hand.

Dawson didn't realize giving Ben a place to stay for a couple of days would change his life or gain him a friend. He only wished Ben wanted more than friendship. A small misunderstanding makes Dawson realize he may have read Ben wrong. Does Dawson have time to correct his mistake before the past comes back and tries to take Ben from him?
